Product description generator
What does this tool do?
Writing product descriptions is tedious. Every product needs one, every platform has its own format, and the copy directly affects conversion. This tool takes your product details and generates a description tailored to the platform you're selling on — Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or social — in the style and length you choose.
Tips for better descriptions
- List specific features, not benefits. The model will turn features into benefits. If you write "benefits" you'll get vague output. Write "GOTS-certified organic cotton, snap closure, 0-24 months" and let the model sell it.
- Include the audience. A baby onesie for eco-conscious parents reads differently than one for budget shoppers. Tell the model who it's for.
- Match the style to the brand. Luxury brands should use the Luxury style. Mass-market products use Professional or Friendly. Kids' products can use Playful.
- Choose the right platform. Amazon and Shopify have very different formatting expectations. If you sell on both, generate two versions.
Frequently asked questions
Is this tool free?
Yes. It runs on Cloudflare Workers AI with a free daily quota. Normal use won't hit limits.
Will the description rank on Amazon?
The Amazon format front-loads keywords naturally, which is a starting point for search visibility. But real Amazon ranking depends on your backend keywords, category, reviews, and sales velocity. The description is one input among many.
Will it invent product specs?
No. The prompt explicitly tells the model not to invent features, materials, or specifications not in your input. However, always review the output — AI can occasionally rephrase things in ways that overstate what you provide.
Can I use it for non-physical products?
Yes. It works for digital products, courses, software, and services. Just describe the "product" in the features field — what it does, what's included, and who it's for.
Can I edit the output?
You should. The output is a polished draft, not a finished description. Add brand-specific details, adjust the tone to match your site, and verify any factual claims before publishing.
